Don’t miss an opportunity to connect with your subscriber (or in this case, your unsubscriber)…You’ve heard the quote “If You Love Someone, Set Them Free. If They Come Back They’re Yours”

…The quote “If You Love Someone, Set Them Free. If They Come Back They’re Yours” might just sum it up best.

There are many reasons why someone chooses to leave your list – timing on their journey, cramped schedules, noisy inboxes, and so on…sometimes it is not a good fit…and sometimes you can learn a lot from those people departing from your list. You can gain valuable knowledge that will help your business, not to mention you’ll save money trimming your list, which is always good for the bottom line.

Email Marketing Strategy for Bloggers

Even when a subscriber says goodbye, it is an opportunity for you to connect with her. Find an emotional trigger. Make her laugh. Inspire her. Remind her that you’ll be here when she is ready to join your list again.

Never Miss an Opportunity to Connect with Your Subscribers

Departing ways on a positive note goes a long way for brand image and promotion of your products, programs, and services. You never know that reader might just change her mind at that moment or at some point in the future.

Unsubscribers provide an opportunity for you to gather information to do better and to be better. With every unsubscriber, you gain insight into what is working with your email strategy and what is not working. You also get to know your ideal reader that much better.
